Arbonne Review. Another Make Up Company Or Something Better?

by Joey Fratantoni on March 23, 2010

It’s my pleasure to have you on this page reading this review on the Arbonne business opportunity.  This review is superior to most of the other reviews you will find on the internet simply because I am not an Arbonne representative, allowing me to deliver an unbiased, third party review and not just trying to recruit you.  So whether you are a potential customer wanting to learn more about the products or maybe just an entrepreneur searching for ways to create some extra income, this is a great place to learn more about Arbonne.

What Is Arbonne?

Arbonne is a direct sales company that operates using the network marketing business model.  Network marketing gives people the ability to sell products and services and receive commissions while building a team of distributors.   The company was founded back in 1975 and was brought to the United States in 1980.  These dates are highly relevant when you look at how long Arbonne has actually been around.  This is a crucial piece of information when considering whether or not you want to join this kind of company.  The longer they have been in business, the better.  Arbonne was formed by a group of biologists, chemists , herbalists and a man by the name of Peter Mørck with a vision to create a skin care line based on botanical principles.

What Does Arbonne Sell?

In the beginning it was mostly skin care products based on these botanical principles.  This gave the company a distinct uniqueness and made their products very appealing.  Over time Arbonne branched out to other wellness products such as vitamin, weight loss and aroma therapy products, as well as many others.  Network marketers and direct sale professionals have some times criticized this move of selling different products because it decreased the overall focus of Arbonne.

Here’s a list of some of the products being sold currently:

  • anti-aging
  • hydration creams
  • detox formulas
  • blemish control
  • cosmetics
  • aromatherapy
  • baby & teen products
  • balancing creams
  • weight loss
  • nutrition supplements
  • nutrition hybrids

The Business Side Of Arbonne

You can get paid in Arbonne like you would in most network marketing companies.  Number one, you get paid by product volume sold.  This volume is the amount you and your team produce each month.  Number two, you get paid for sponsoring new representatives into your team.  For anyone who works with Arbonne I would recommend to both sell product and also sponsors new reps.  The more people in your team, the more volume can be produced and the more leverage you have.  For the exact compensation plan please visit Arbonne.com.

Rumors About Arbonne

There has been many rumors and much hearsay around Arbonne possibly filing a Chapter 11 bankruptcy claim.  From my research it is safe to say that the company is still in business.  These bankruptcy claims came about when Arbonne announced that it would need to do some restructuring.  In other words, they needed to do a little inside house cleaning to make business more efficient.  As of March 5, 2010, Arbonne has 80% less debt.  This is good news for current reps and potential new reps.  This company has been around for over 30 years and would not let themselves be eliminated so easily.

To Succeed Or Not Too Succeed

Not every person who decides to join Arbonne will experience massive success and create an income that is lucrative.  Some reps earn a couple hundred per month.  Some reps earn five figures per month.  Some earn nothing.  What you must realize about any network marketing business opportunity is that there are specific skills you must learn in order to earn a lot of money.  These skills are selling, marketing, lead generation and sponsoring.  If you want to have any shot at Arbonne you will need to become good at most of these skills.  Arbonne is a great company, but they don’t have the best tools and resources when it comes to building a profitable business for each representative.  What you need is real training that you can use and pass down to your team, enabling everyone to grow.  For the top marketing and lead generation training available be sure to fill out the form below to hop on my free newsletter.  You will also find all kinds of network marketing tips and advice on this blog.
