Ever heard of Google Adwords?
This is the most powerful advertising tool ever created and
if you are not using this for you business I suggest you place
it at the top of your priority list!
If you have ever used the internet then I’m pretty certain
you have heard of Google. I am also pretty certain that you
have used Google to search for something. Either way you look
at it, if you had a question about something or wanted to
learned more about it, Google had an answer for you.
That is what Google is all about…

Google’s main mission in life is to provide the most relevant
content for a search performed by it’s users. So what does this
mean for you as a marketer? It means that the more relevant
your ads are the more exposure you will receive and the more
profit you will make.

website in the United States and #2 worldwide (under Yahoo!)
according to Alexa.com. So you can understand how much traffic
Google actually receives on a daily basis. Why not tap into

Now there are two ways for you to advertise using Google.
You can use the very long and exhausting way known as search
engine optimization (SEO) or you can choose the faster and
more direct approach known as Google Adwords aka Google
pay-per-click (PPC).
We are going to stick with Google Adwords for now.

Adwords is the advertising program from Google that allows
it’s marketers to advertise on their search engine. When
you perform a search you will notice that there are sponsored
results that appear. There are up to 3 on the top and up to
10 on the right side of the page.
So how exactly does Google Adwords work?
You sign up for an Adwords account with a valid email. Once
you have your account set up you can begin to create campaigns
and ad groups. You can select which keyword you want to bid
on depending on your business. People search for specific
keywords and if you have bidded on that keyword it will appear
in the sponsored results. If people like your ad they will
click on it.
You only get charged when someone clicks on your ad. Period.
Now that little description may have sounded simple, but
Google Adwords is anything but simple. Just like anything
that is new and unknown, you will have to educate yourself
on Adwords and really learn how to advertise using this tool.
I do not want you to be like many other people I have seen who
just dump thousands into Adwords and have no idea what they
are doing.
