So What Is Maakoa Anyway?
Maakoa is a network marketing company that promotes a health and wellness product featuring some pretty rare ingredients with supposed high nutrient value. I’m assuming you understand what network marketing is and how the business models works in the most basic of terms. Maakoa has done what many network companies have done as of recently. They have created a product, containing nutrient rich foods, and have targeted the health and wellness industry, which is rapidly expanding. Paired with their unqiue product is the business opportunity. This allows people to join Maakoa and earn commissions by reselling the product and sponsoring more people into their organization. Other companies in the industry that are selling similar products are Zrii, Acai Plus, Xocai, Vemma and Monavie.
Is The Product Just All Hype?
Absolutely not. Typically most companies promoting liquid nutritionals would not even waste their time formulating a product that did not have some noticeable health benefits. Many of the premier ingredients in these nutritionals include very rare foods like the Acai berry, Amalaki, pomegranate and in the case of Maakoa, Cupuacu.
The main product that Maakoa promotes is called Koopuwa featuring the Brazilian fruit Cupuacu, essential fatty acids, amino acids and an array of B vitamins. The product is quite unique and does have some very powerful ingredients essential for optimum health. The only problem that I see, in addition to many of these other liquid nutritionals, is going to be price. Yes, Maakoa has a product here featuring a Brazilian fruit with great health properties, but the price may just scare a few people away. Only time will tell if a large amount of people see and feel the benefits associated with Maakoa’s product and disregard price for results.
What About The Moo-lah, How Can You Get Paid?
Maakoa not only promotes a cool product, but they have a great compensation plan to go along with it. You as a distributor can earn commissions on product volume sold and by organizational product volume sold. There are really two main ways you get paid. One, the amount of customers you get to purchase the product. Two, the amount of new distributors you sponsor to help you sell the product. In between this are fast-start bonuses, bonus pools and other neat ways to accommodate the distributors.
Honestly, Maakoa’s product and compensation plan is going to resemble many others out there in the industry. What will determine how well you get paid is going to be customer retention and marketing demand. Sure it will be easy to sign up new distributors, but there has to be a market in place for product to get pumped out.
Maakoa V.S. Other Network Marketing Companies
At this stage of the game it may be too early to tell how well Maakoa will fare against their competition. The biggest thing to look out for is how innovative upper management wants to be and if they have a solid marketing plan in place to spread the word about Maakoa and their Koopuwa product. You have to understand that their is fierce competition out there in the health and wellness industry. Everyone seems to have the latest and greatest pill or drink that seems to cure all disease. Maakoa will have to find a way to cut through all of this noise and penetrate the market with their unique product.
One thing that Maakoa does very similar compared to other companies is promotion. Their main vehicle being used to promote the business is the company and product itself. The only problem with this is that everyone else is doing the same thing. Maakoa has to find a way to stand out. You as a distributor will also have to find a way to stand out if you hope to grow a large team and generate those residual income checks each month.
Your Focus As A Distributor
When it comes to network marketing there are some skills you must learn that aren’t necessarily taught to you by your upline members. These skills usually are selling, recruiting and especially marketing. The one skill I would strongly recommend above all others is unequivocally marketing. If you notice network marketing contains the word marketing in it. Yet most network marketers, have NO CLUE about marketing. Pretty ironic isn’t it?
The main thing you want to focus on is marketing as a Maakoa distributor. And I don’t mean marketing to your Mom, Dad and Uncle Steve the Vietnam war vet. You have to learn how to market to people who are looking to start a business. You have to market to people who are looking for health products such as the one Maakoa promotes. Network marketing companies fail in this department. Just because a network marketing company comes out does not mean they know how to market. By you learning how to market properly and how to create relationships with people, you will undoubtedly have success no matter what company you are in.
Final Thoughts
If you have not realized by now I am not in this company. I am a third party who has significant experience in the network marketing industry. If you ask me, Maakoa looks like a great company. The only thing you have to watch for is can they capitalize on the increased awareness in the health and wellness industry and will there be a market for their product over a prolonged period of time? You as a Maakoa distributor have to take these questions into consideration. Also, remember that it will not be up to Maakoa for you to succeed. This will stem off your ability to market well.
