1. Dictate the tone of the conversation. You are in the position of power here. Remember YOU are trying to recruit this person.
2. Ask questions. Set the pace and let the prospect do most of the talking. You want to find out if they are a good fit for your business. You don’t want to recruit just anybody.
3. Do not come off as needy. Remember this is your business and you want to work with only the most qualified people. If you come off as needy or as if you have to recruit this person, they will sense it in your voice and probably run away.
4. Show them that you do not care whether or not they get recruited. The less you care the more you will receive. Strange concept, but it does work in recruiting. It puts you in a position of power in the eyes of your prospect.
5. Show a relaxed confidence. This means to come off as someone who is going to win no matter what the outcome is. Either you will recruit the prospect or you will not. If your demeanor shows you don’t care either way, you will more than likely get what you want. Sounds illogical yes, but it absolutely works.
Recruiting Tips Using The Internet
1. A web site. (Not one of the replicated web sites given to you by your company) Your web site is showcasing how you can help the prospect. People don’t care much about the product or compensation plan, they just want to know how you can help them. They want a leader.
2. Marketing in place. This includes a wide array of options using the internet. (i.e. pay-per-click, banners, blogs, social media, articles, press releases etc.)
3. A clear and defined message. You want to attract the ideal prospects to sponsor into your business, right? Then you must be crystal clear with your message. If marketing and selling yourself is a relatively new concept then you will definitely need to do some research and learn some skill sets.
The Last And Most Import MLM Recruiting Tip
Never stop growing yourself. The more value you present in this MLM marketplace, the easier it will be to sponsor prospects. Continually increase your recruiting skills, talk to as many people as you can, become a good communicator and learn how to deal with objections.
