So I’m sitting down at my desk and doing some research on my favorite website of all time, Google. I use Google to perform most of my keyword research and to see what my competition is doing. One thing I have noticed as of lately is how SO many people are talking about MLM sponsoring systems. One website says you need to use this system and another says you need to use that system. And in the middle of all these system pitches I am noticing a common, but rather disturbing trend. No one is telling you why you need a sponsoring system and what the real purpose of the system is.
All they tell you is that you plug into the system and the next minute you are earning six figures per month. Total LIE!
In this post I would like to explain the purpose of a sponsoring system and how to use one properly.
Understand that no matter what the system’s sales pages say, sponsoring is not an automatic process. Some human intervention is required. After all, the MLM industry is all about relationships and building trust. The system could convert visitors into leads at a very high percentage, but you still need to implement the human element to maximize the effectiveness of the system.
MLM sponsoring secrets found in most systems can be used online or offline. The sole purpose of the system is to optimize some of the activities involved in the sponsoring process. Activities such as generating leads, presentations and initial communication with leads.
Personally I use a sponsoring system with the help of the internet. With the aid of search engines, my websites and auto responders I am able to attract qualified leads and prospects to my marketing funnel. The system allows me to eliminate most of the dirty work and concentrate on talking to prospects who are either interested in joining my MLM company or can benefit from other products I promote.
The ideal MLM sponsoring system, if used online, would look something like this. You market and send people to your system’s lead capture pages. Leads then enter their contact information (name, email, etc.) and are now in your sales funnel. Through the sales funnel useful products and services will be promoted and on the back end is your primary MLM company.
The only way you are going to have success with a sponsoring system is take it a step further. This involves constant communication through emails or you calling your leads. Other ways of contact could include weekly conference calls, webinars or video presentations through the various social media networks. The point is, if you want to make the most out of any sponsoring system, no matter which one it is, you must take the extra step to communicate with your leads and prospects.
Case Study:
Here a quick case study using my system:
As mentioned earlier my system converts visitors into leads at a 7-12% rate. Over a month I was able to generate over 200 targeted MLM leads. I sent them through my sales funnel and converted 3 people into my primary program. This occurred without my direct intervention. The next month I generated about the same amount of leads, but this time I called each lead and communicated with them on a regular basis. From this additional contact I was able to convert 7 people into my primary program. I doubled my sign-ups simply because I added the human element and connected with people.
So as you can see an MLM sponsoring system will work, but there is nothing more powerful than building and sustaining relationships with people. This is what MLM is all about.
