Well my friends this is it. Included here on this page are the 10 steps to network marketing success. Don’t believe me? It doesn’t matter. I have witnessed with my very own eyes that you have to go through each of these steps if you intend to be successful in network marketing. Now I don’t know what your current situation is in the industry. Perhaps you have been in for 5+ years and are doing quite well. Maybe you are brand new and don’t even know what MLM stands for. Whatever it may be, these 10 steps, once mastered, can unequivocally guarantee that you get results. These 10 steps are from collective experience of many successful network marketers and now are available for your viewing pleasure…
1. Recognize Your Purpose – When taking the plunge into this industry you have to know why you are doing this. Why do you want to start a business? What are you trying to accomplish? Are you trying to replace your full time income? Are you trying to eventually create a new lifestyle for yourself? These are the questions you must ask. What is the point of trying to build a network marketing business if you don’t have a reason and purpose?
2. See The End Result – Many personal development experts and life coaches will tell you to ‘begin with the end in mind.’ Why is this so? Well you want to paint a clear picture as to why you are doing this. You want to see the finish line. You want to feel what it would be like to accomplish this goal. Whatever your desire is, ($10,000 per month, new boat, more time with the family) you must first see and feel what it would be like to have it. There is no point in getting started if you do not have an end result in mind. Keeping this picture will also help you to reach your end result much faster.
3. Constant Enthusiasm – In network marketing you are required to sell. Not just selling the product or business, but also selling yourself. Most people who buy into this type of business don’t do it for the product, founders or company, rather for dreams and goals. They join the person who told them about the business because they believe this person could help them get to their dream destination. This is why it is extremely important to be enthusiastic at times. This enthusiasm gets picked up by your leads and prospects and also dictates how well you perform.
4. Daily List Making – This is a critical step for anyone who is in free enterprise. In order to maximize each day and see that all of your most important task are completed you should create a daily list. Each day you refer to this list and plan your day accordingly. A rule I live by is that I cannot go to sleep until everything on that daily list is created. It has worked so far.
5. Learning How To Ask – Again, network marketing will involve some selling. Whether it’s the product or you, you will be required to learn how to ask bigger and better questions to the prospects you talk to. You have to understand that just because some say no at first, does not mean that they will not buy from you or join your business down the road. By learning how to ask the right questions, you can get more yes’s that you might think.
6. A Quality Product – You have to be promoting a product that you would endorse even if there wasn’t a business opportunity attached to it. What is the point of trying to sell a product to someone if you would not buy it or use it yourself? Remember, you don’t want to lead with your product, but you do want to support it. Believe it or not, your product can sometimes help sponsor people.
7. Real, Result-Producing Training – One of the main reasons why there is so much failure in network marketing is because of the poor training. The majority of people who experience success are not necessarily smarter or more skilled than you, they just had better training. This is the responsibility of your upline to offer you training that will get you results. If the team you joined does not have the right training, you may want to find another team or another company all together. Also, be sure that you have access to free training.
8. Team Environment - Believe it or not, this step can either make or break you. You need to find a team of people who are absolutely dedicated to your success as well as their own. Having an enthusiastic team environment can give you that extra push to keep going, even when you might feel like quitting. Working in a team can also bring out the best qualities and ideas within you.
9. Systems – This is a step that I support 100%. You need systems in place that are duplicable and enable you to actually grow your business quickly and efficiently. These systems can be people, technology or other resources. My personal favorite is using the internet. From the online strategies I implement I am able to generate 50+ leads per day for my business, all through the use of proven systems. These systems also make it easier for the newest person to plug in and get results.
10. Make Use Of Your Time – I saved the best for last. This step holds precedence over all other steps. Everyone has the same 24 hours in each day. What you do with that time is up to you. It is your responsibility and duty to make the most out of every day and allot a specific amount of time to commit to your business on a very regular basis. The only thing that separates you from successful network marketers is time.
