Six Numis Network Complaints You Need To Be Aware Of…

by Joey Fratantoni on September 2, 2010

I’m assuming that you’re doing some research on the Numis Network and just want to cover all of your bases.  It’s very important to look at every aspect of any network marketing company before joining, especially the complaints.  From my personal research and various interviews conducted I have discovered the top six Numis Network complaints and would like to share them with you below.

1.  The Coins Cost Too Much

This is the number one complaint among distributors and even potential customers.  In order to become eligible for commissions as a distributor you must purchase one silver numismatic coin every month for your autoship that costs $99.  Some think this price is outrageous, however, the Numis Network prices are actually very competitive.  An identical MS70 silver numismatic coin can be found on eBay selling for $149 and about two months ago I saw an ad in Fortune magazine selling the same coin for $160.

2.  The Value Of The Coins Will Go Down

A lot of people think that Numis is saturating the market with these coins and will cause demand to decrease, therefore causing the coin values to drop.  The company has partnerships with leading U.S. mints and the top three grading agencies so that both customers and distributors are getting a competitive price but also keeping supply low enough so that the coins retain their value.  Numismatics hold their value because of their condition, age and rarity so it’s important keep their supply limited.

3.  There Are Glitches In The Compensation Plan

The compensation is a combination of both a binary plan and a coded matching bonus.  Experts argue that the Numis binary plan will limit distributors to earning high incomes because they get paid on their weaker leg.  This is absolutely true and a major reason why most people shy away from binary plans, however, Numis founders have rectified this issue by incorporating the coded matching bonus.  Not only will you get paid based on binary volume but you will also earn $100 when anyone, regardless of leg or position, sponsors a new rep at the $495 executive level.  The largest check in network marketing history happened only because of the coded matching bonus.

4.  It Is Difficult To Sponsor New Distributors

This could seriously apply to ANY network marketing company.  It’s more of a personal problem and if you are having problems sponsoring people then you probably are not marketing, networking and selling.  It’s as simple as that.

5.  This Company Won’t Last

Some say this is another one of those ‘ gold and silver deals’ and it won’t last.  Yes this company sells gold and silver, however, it is the ONLY network marketing company to ever sell gold and silver numismatic coins through this business model.  It’s also important to note here that the numismatic industry is a 110 BILLION dollar industry.

6.  Only People Who Join Early Will Make Money

Many people are aware that in the early Numis presentations the company compared getting in early at the top to that of Amway/ Quixtar.  This is true of any network marketing company.  Yes, you have a better chance of building a huge organization if you join at the beginning, but Numis is still brand new.  Currently there are a little over 12,000 reps in the United States, which is nothing.  That number will grow yes, but now is still a good time to join.  If Numis had 1 milllion reps, then that would be a different story.

If you still have questions about the company or you would like to comment on this post, feel free to leave your feedback below.  I’m sure the community will appreciate it.
