Recruiting: Worst Nightmare For Some.
What You Need To Know…
Recruiting aka Sponsoring in the MLM and networking industry
is one of the most feared skill sets that you must learn.
Here’s Why…
The majority of people who stumble into this industry are not
trained sales people, not good on the phone and quite often will
just pitch the biz to a prospect. Doing these things usually
sparks a lot of rejection and leaves you without people in
your downline.
If you are involved with any kind of MLM company you probably
have found yourself cold calling leads for hours a day with little
or no results.
You probably have also:
-pitched the “biz opp” to friends and family
-handed out flyers and business cards
-sent people to conference calls
-followed up with people
-held house meetings
-attended hotel meeting
The list could go on and on…what you need to know is that none
of this stuff works efficiently. If your goal is to sponsor a
specific number of people into your business per month you will
not meet that goal using the above failed methods.
I should know, I did this silly crap for close to a year and
finally realized how bad it sucked. In order to conquer
this fear of rejection I worked on myself constantly, studied
courses and put into action what I had learned.
So What Should You Be Doing?
If your business does require you to sponsor people as a means
to make the chunk of your income along with building your downline
and you are not comfortable recruiting people go here:
What you need to realize about recruiting/sponsoring is that
not everyone is good at it at first. (AT FIRST) Just like
anything this is a major skill you will need to develop in
order to make it to the top.
The first thing you have to worry about is lead generation.
If you have been actively participating in my newsletter you have
enough solid content under your belt to go out there and generate
your own leads.
Your next step is either have those leads join your business
or monetize them in your sales funnel.
For most of you these two options seem impossible sometimes if
you don’t know what you’re doing.
Uniquely with network marketing/ MLM, this industry is based
on relationships and making them last over a long period of time.
You have to get people to know, like and trust you.
In order to do this you may need to get on the phone and talk to
some people.
The biggest reason people neglect to do this is fear of…
REJECTION!
One of the most important things that I want you to know is that
you cannot be afraid of rejection. Not in life, not with people
and not in your business.
Rejection is just a part of life.
Period.
Not everyone is going to buy into your business.
Not everyone is going to be sold on the concept of building your
own business and living the lifestyle of their dreams.
And not everyone is going to see your exact perspective.
But…
With polished recruiting skills you may be able to change a few
people here and there. You may be able to bring about new
perspectives that your prospects didn’t see before.
The point is you need to master this skill of recruiting if you
intend to make the huge residual checks and dominate your company
with a massive downline.
Things to remember…
**When you are talking to prospects on the phone, replying to
them in an email or even instant messaging them there are a
few points you need to keep in mind that will save you your
precious time and energy.
1.) You dictate the conversation – this means you are the one
asking questions, you control the tempo of the conversation
and you make it apparent that this prospect is privileged to
be speaking with you.
2.) Remember your position – You are the person with the answers,
you are the one who is presenting the opportunity to the prospects.
3.) Feel abundant with every prospect – just remember that
there are more than one prospect out there. Do not focus primarily
on this one. This is your business and you only want to work
with qualified people.
4.) Handle rejections confidently – many people will ask you
questions that automatically disqualify them. Remember that the
direction of the conversation is in your hands and you don’t have
to answer silly questions.
5.) Attempt to read people on the spot - you will be able to
tell in a matter of less than 5 minutes whether or not a prospect
is a good fit. Remember that you are the qualifier and want
only to work with people who are going to benefit both themselves
and you by joining the business.
6.) Do not be afraid to let go – Remember that you are trying
to work with only the MOST qualified prospects. Some people
you come into contact with may not be a good fit, for
whatever reason, and you have to let them go.
These six pointers should help you out with your next
conversation with prospects.
Because I know you are looking for the best way to recruit
prospects and dominate your company you will need to become a
master recruiter. I have just the solution…
Again, just realize how important this skill of recruiting/ sponsoring is to
your business. Learn this skill promptly.
Yours In Success,
