What is going on my friends? I wanted to write this VERY crucial blog post to clear up a few things. There are too many people out there who say that MLM is soooo hard and it is nearly impossible to experience success. Well that is a BIG LIE! Over the next few minutes I’m going to discuss why the majority fail and explain in detail how you can experience success in MLM.
First and foremost let’s uncover why there is such a high failure rate in MLM. So…
Why Do So Many People Struggle And Fail In The MLM Profession?
There is a very simple answer to this question. Most people simply do not possess the skills to have success in MLM. Skills such as recruiting, prospecting, selling, closing, marketing and rapport building. Most people who join MLM have great intentions, but none of this matters if they do not take it upon themselves to learn the fundamental skills to win the MLM game. You have to realize that most people who find themselves in a new company that peddles the latest and greatest juice supplement has no sales experience, let alone knows how to market. For goodness sakes, the word ‘marketing’ is in network marketing and multi-level marketing.
Another Gigantic Reason…Bad Training
Many network marketers who come into this new and potentially lucrative profession have the best motivation. What hurts them though, is the training that they may receive from their up-line members. MLM was originally based on word-of-mouth marketing and many organizations, even today, still preach this to their new distributors. And you and I both know what these recommendations are. They include contacting your warm market, holding home meetings, attending hotel meetings, cold calling leads and many other approaches that do not yield positive results for most that employ them. And it’s not technically the fault of your up-line. It’s a vicious cycle that continues to go around even the newest of companies.
Two Categories Of MLM Winners
When it comes to the successful people in MLM they are two types. The first group of people are those who have been in the industry for a long time and have a relatively huge following. These people can literally go to a new company and overnight amass a hefty six-figure income each month. The second type of person is the person who learns the necessary skills and builds their empire from the ground up. MLM is just like any other type of profession. You cannot expect to succeed if you do not have the knowledge, skills and tools required to succeed. Yes, success in MLM can occur both offline or online, it will just be a matter of which route do you want to take and are you willing to learn and do whatever it takes to make it work?
The Blueprint For Success
1. Find a company that has a product you can fully support, know there is a demand and is something you could actually sell to your own mother.
2. Select offline or online methods you will use to grow your business.
3. Find a leader and/ or mentor who can put you on the right path and direct you back on course in the case that you drift. This mentor can be in your own company or someone who has already experienced success in MLM.
4. Master the skill of lead generation. Again, this can be offline or online, but just make sure that you master this skill. Lead flow is the lifeblood of your business when first starting out and you must generate targeted MLM leads Only when you build a large team can you use their leverage to still earn the same amount of income each month.
5. Always improve yourself. Abstain from the television and media, surround yourself with successful people (this is easier than ever in the internet age), read or watch something empowering for at least 30 minutes per day, keep a sound diet and exercise regiment, treasure the time with your family and friends and take some time for yourself each day.
The Only Thing That Separates You From An MLM Millionaire
Time. The absolute only thing that stands in between you right now and your potential six or seven-figure income is time. So make sure you follow the steps above and never ever quit. You won’t get rich over night and this is a gradual process at first, but once you do master the right skills and you do build a large team it will all be worth it.
